Morphoanatomic performance on larval rearing of marine fish

Estimation performance in the larval rearing can be seen of morphoanatomic criteria that refer to the suitability of developing and / or chronology of the development of certain organs. Assessment criteria will depend on the existence of an assessment standards accurately:
• describe normal or abnormal aspects of certain organs,
• fix the periods of observation that can or should do,
• shows how it should be done.

The choice of a criterion depending on the importance of the consequences of these criteria on the performance of larval rearing (frequency of appearance, effects on growth, survival, etc.). In larval fish species such as seabass or grouper, morphoanatomic quality refers mainly to anomalies that affect the urinary bladder, swim bladders, and fish bones(skeleton).
