FISH CULTURE SYSTEM

              Fish farming system is a function or interaction of components consisting of fishes, feed and environment. Nowadays, Culture systems is also known as aquaculture. Aquaculture is an activity to maintain the aquatic organisms in the controlled environment in order to get profit. Aquaculture or fish farming can be defined as human intervention (human efforts) to improve water productivity by aquaculture activities. Aquaculture activities are maintenance activities referred to reproduce (reproduction), growth (growth), as well as improve the quality of aquatic organisms to obtain profits.


              Aquaculture technology involves the production of container construction activities, the selection of the location of cultivation, the determination of cropping patterns, use of seed and the right stocking density (stocking density), suitable quantity, quality, time and manner of feeding, pest and disease control, water management, monitoring , harvesting and post harvest handling.
Aquaculture covers all aquatic organisms such as fish, shrimp, shelled animals or shellfish, algae and echinoderms.
